This is one of our MOST POPULAR events of the year and WILL SELL OUT by EARLY OCTOBER so please register early!
The race will take place at The Shoppes at English Village which is 1460 Bethlehem Pike, North Wales, PA 19454. Specifically, the start & finish line & Tapping of the Great Pumpkin Festival will be in the parking lot next to Ironhill Brewery :-)
Everyone registered for the events will get yummy appetizers straight from the fantastic Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar!! And also some great pizza from Jules Thin Crust Pizza and pizza & tomato pies from Tony Roni's in Spring House!
Choose to run your event in a costume and you will automatically be entered in the "Best Costume Contest" or feel free to run in your normal running attire! : )

Packet Pickup for this race will be at NORTH WALES RUNNING COMPANY the day before the race (Friday, October 19th from 5-7pm) or if you cannot make packet pick up on Friday.....you can pick up you packets on race day starting at 1:30 pm :-)
RACE DAY: Check in for 8k, 5K & Lil' Pumpkin Run participants from 1:30-2:30 pm. No new registrations taken after 2:30 pm.

"You ask for it.....we deliver": Many folks have been asking if we are giving age group awards in five year increments (versus ten year)....NOW we are!! From now on, ALL Scoogie events age group awards will be in FIVE YEAR age increments!!
Also.... New disposable bib tag timing by Bryn Mawr Racing (same timing that is used at the NYC Marathon). Instant results available at finish!
The Tapping of the Great Pumpkin Event is located in the parking lot next to Ironhill Brewery which will play host to a variety of family fun activities and offer free delicious seasonal foods from Harvest Seasonal Grill, Jules Thin Crust Pizza, Tony Roni's, Trader Joes and other local restaurants.
Events consist of a wheel measured flat (sort of:-) & fast 8k, 5k, and a 1/2 mile kid's fun run and a mile walk.

"Multi person/family discount means that you get $10 off the total registration fees when signing up more then 3 runners for the any of teh runs besides the kid's run or walk". The "Multi person/family discount" will be automatically taken off once three runners are registered when registering them all at the same time!
Again, This event WILL sell out at 700 runners.
Once 700 runners is reached, we CANNOT accept any more runners.....no exceptions.

AWARDS: Awards given for 8k & 5k only, Kids Run is for FUN! Overall winner (male and female), plus top three males and females in each age category: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over. No mailing of awards or shirts.
Again, no mailing of awards or shirts. If you have to leave the race early for ANY reason, you must notify us to save your award. If you do not, we cannot hold/store awards and will likely be given to a race day entry or someone else. It is simply too much to hold/store & inventory the awards.
Note: If you are registered for this race and you registered in time to choose a t shirt/1/4 zip size BUT you are unable to run for whatever reason, you will NEED TO CONTACT us BEFORE RACE DAY and let us know if you'd like us to hold on to your reserved giveaway (t shirt or 1/4 zip) for you to pick up at a future Scoogie Event. If you do not do this, we cannot hold you shirt and it will be given to someone that registered after the deadline. We cannot mail shirts.
