Join us for our 5th year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving for the Doylestown Jingle Bell Turkey Trot!

This family friendly event has a distance for
EVERY level of runner or walker!

The Doylestown Jingle Bell Turkey Trot has proven to be a
MUST DO FAMILY event every Saturday after Thanksgiving!

Our most popular event in Doylestown is one of the most beautiful runs in all of Bucks County!!

So, pull out your favorite holiday costumes or dust off your ugly holiday sweaters and get ready for a unique, family friendly event that’ll get everyone into the holiday spirit!!

PACKET PICK-UP (PPU) INFORMATION:

👉PPU DATES & TIMES: (2 options)
Monday November 22nd~4:00-7:00 pm
Tuesday, November 23rd~4:00-8:00 pm
(PLEASE do not arrive before 4:00 pm either day, your packets will not be available for pick-up before 4:00 pm)

PPU is NOT mandatory:
~You CAN pick -up your packets on race morning, but we strongly encourage you to try to come to PPU on Monday or Tuesday to avoid lines on race morning.
~You CAN pick up packets for friends & family members:
You MUST know each person’s FULL NAME & DOB

~  INSTANT RESULTS: This event will be CHIP TIMED with the chips embedded in the special edition DTT race bibs and there will be timing mats at the start, therefore your time starts once you cross the start line. So no need to panic to get to the front:-)
You will get your results EMAILED &/OR TEXTED to you when you cross the finish line!!!! Only the 10k & 5k runs are timed.

The  After Party:
Let the party begin after you cross the finish line and collect your much deserved finisher's medal!
Bring a few chairs or blankets and plan on sticking around for some good music from DJ Dave, costume contest, hot chocolate & cookies, potato sack races, corn hole, food trucks, beer (21+ only), a ROCKIN' awards ceremony and who knows, a dance party may even break-out…
(as it has for the past 5 years💃🕺)

~~Scoogie Events MULTI-FAMILY & FRIENDS Program": Save $10 when you register 3 people or more at this event:-) 

"Multi person/family discount means that you get $10 off the total registration fees when signing up 3 or more runners for the any of the runs besides the kid's run or walk". The "Multi person/family discount" will be automatically taken off once three runners are registered when registering them all at the same time!

AWARDS: 
Overall TOP THREE winners (male & female), plus top three males & females in each age category: 
NEW AGE GROUP 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 60-69, 70 & over. No mailing of awards or shirts. 

Again, no mailing of awards or shirts. You MUST pick up your award before you leave.  If you do not, we cannot hold/store awards and it will likely be given to a race day entry or someone else. It is simply too much to hold/store & inventory the awards. 

Note: If you are registered for this race and you registered in time to choose a tech shirt BUT you are unable to run for whatever reason, you will NEED TO CONTACT us BEFORE RACE DAY and let us know if you'd like us to hold on to your reserved shirt for you to pick up at a future Scoogie Event. If you do not do this, we cannot hold your shirt and it will be given to someone that registered after the deadline. We cannot mail shirts!

Packet Pick details will be emailed 5 days before this event.

Runners may pick up their packets on race morning but it is advised that they pick them up at packet pick up the day before to avoid lines on race day.

💥VERY IMPORTANT & TIME SENSITIVE NOTES ABOUT THIS EVENT💥

Again, if COVID gets worse over the weeks/months and we deem it to be unsafe to have this event, we will make the event a VIRTUAL event. There will be no refunds. Your swag (medal & t-shirt) will be able to be picked up at a yet-to-be determined SWAG pick up.


IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING WEATHER:
This event is a rain/shine event.
This means that if it rains (and as long as the temperature isn’t low enough to freeze any surfaces), this event IS A GO…even in the rain….”skin is waterproof😀”
In the event that we experience bad weather such as snow or ice or any weather that would cause the course to be unsafe, we will cancel the event.
There will be no refunds due to the fact that at this point all of the expenses for a race of this magnitude have been paid for.
Should COVID gets worse over the weeks/months and we deem it to be unsafe to have this event, we will make the event a VIRTUAL event. There will be no refunds. Your swag (medal & t-shirt) will be able to be picked-up a yet to be determined SWAG pick up.

It’s important to understand that IF we need to cancel this event due to extreme weather, we will not issue any refunds and we will not reschedule the event this year.

NOTE: We do not issue any refunds, transfers or credits for any reason. We have the right to revise or cancel the race due to emergency or weather issue....(but we really hope this doesn't happen:-)
