💥#1: REGARDING SPECTATORS💥
DUE TO RESTRICTIONS SET FORTH BY THE STATE & LOCAL GOVERNMENTS WE ARE RESTRICTING THE TOTAL NUMBER OF PEOPLE AT THIS RACE!
THESE ARE RESTRICTIONS THAT WE MUST ABIDE BY.
THEREFOR, WE ARE ONLY ALLOWING REGISTERED RUNNERS TO ATTEND THE EVENT.

💥#2: REGARDING YOUR SAFETY AND HAVING THIS EVENT SHOULD THINGS GET WORSE💥
WE WILL NOT HAVE THIS EVENT IF WE DON'T FEEL THAT IT IS A SAFE EVENT FOR EVERY SINGLE PERSON INVOLVED IN THE EVENT!
If circumstances change for the worse in the next few days, we WILL postpone this event and defer everyone's registration to 2021.

💥#3: REGARDING HOW YOU FEEL PHYSICALLY & EMOTIONALLY ON RACE MORNING💥
If you do not feel comfortable attending this event OR YOU HAVE A TEMPERATURE the morning of the event...
PLEASE DO NOT COME.

💥#4: REGARDING WEARING A MASK💥
Absolutely everyone at the event will be required to wear a mask at all times EXCEPT WHEN YOU ARE RUNNING.
If you don't feel comfortable wearing a mask, please do not come.
We do not enjoy wearing masks either...(especially when it's hot)
But, during these unprecedented times, we need to deal with it.
ALL runners will be able to take their masks off right before starting their run.
YOU MUST CARRY YOUR MASK WITH YOU AT ALL TIMES ON THE RUN (WEAR SOMETHING WITH POCKETS)

💥#5 REGARDING TEMPERATURE CHECK💥
EVERYONE will need to have their temperature taken BEFORE they step foot onto the event grounds. (Temperatures will be taken by top of the line non-contact, one second Infrared thermometers).
If you do not feel comfortable with this, please do not come.
Note: Taking one's temperature DOES NOT necessarily indicate a positive or negative.
It simply is just one of the many steps that we are taking to eliminate any possible unsafe situation.
But please understand that IF your temperature is too high when we check it, we will allow you to rest in your car where it's cooler and try it again.
But, if it remains high upon your second check, you will not be allowed on the event grounds.
If you see this as a possible problem, please do not come.

💥#6 REGARDING SOCIAL DISTANCING💥
WE NEED EVERYONE to consciously pay attention to SOCIAL DISTANCING from the second you step foot onto the venue until the time you leave.
THIS VERY IMPORTANT SOCIAL DISTANCING DETAIL IS WHAT WILL MAKE THIS EVENT A SAFE EVENT FOR EVERYONE.
The 45 Scoogie Events CREW members and 25+ volunteers will be very busy at their specific detail making sure that they do their job to keep you SAFE.
They WILL NOT be checking for social distancing! That is what we would like YOU TO PLEASE DO.

5K START TIMES: Friday’s 5k starts at 5:30 pm. Saturday’s 5k starts at 3:00 pm.
Quick note: You will be required to wear a mask before and after the run...but not during 😊😊😊

~~Scoogie Events MULTI-FAMILY & FRIENDS Program": Save $10 when you register 3 people or more at this event:-)
"Multi person/family discount means that you get $10 off the total registration fees when signing up more then 3 runners for the any of teh runs besides the kid's run or walk". The "Multi person/family discount" will be automatically taken off once three runners are registered when registering them all at the same time!
AWARDS:
Overall winner (male and female), plus top three males and females in each age category: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over. No mailing of awards or shirts.
Again, no mailing of awards or shirts. If you have to leave the race early for ANY reason, you must notify us to save your award. If you do not, we cannot hold/store awards and will likely be given to a race day entry or someone else. It is simply too much to hold/store & inventory the awards.
Note: If you are registered for this race and you registered in time to choose a t shirt size BUT you are unable to run for whatever reason, you will NEED TO CONTACT us BEFORE RACE DAY and let us know if you'd like us to hold on to your reserved giveaway (t shirt) for you to pick up at a future Scoogie Event. If you do not do this, we cannot hold your shirt and it will be given to someone that registered after the deadline. We cannot mail shirts.
