RACE DAY check in for 8k, 5K & Kid’s Run participants from 12:30-1:30 pm.
A packet pick up & race day details email will be emailed out to all registered runners & walkers on Friday, March 8th as well as Monday, March 11th.

**Please note that parents can join the Little Leprechaun Kids Fun Run but are encouraged to register for the Pot o' Gold walk so that you will be able to enjoy the food & beverages at the festival after the runs. Without a bib (run or walk bib), you will not be eligible for this.

The Shake Your Shamrock Event is located in the parking lot next to Ironhill Brewery which will play host to a variety of family fun activities and offer free Ironhill Brewery beer (for those over 21) & delicious seasonal foods from Harvest Seasonal Grill, Jules Thin Crust Pizza, Tony Roni's, Trader Joes and other local restaurants.
If you run your event in a costume, you will be entered in the "Best Costume Contest" or feel free to run in your normal run attire!
Events consist of a wheel measured, flat (sort of:-) & fast 8k, 5k, and a 1/2 mile kid's fun run and a 1 mile walk.
Please note that parents can join the Little Leprechaun Kids Fun Run but are encouraged to register for the Pot of Gold walk so that you will be able to enjoy the food & beverages at he festival after the runs. Without a bib (run or walk bib), you will not be eligible for this.

AMENITIES: Instant results available at finish. Results posted within hours of the events completion. We will have delectable seasonal foods from Harvest Seasonal Grill. Delicious handcrafted beers from Ironhill Brewery will be available inside the brewery after the race. Also....Jules Thin Crust Pizza, Tony Roni's, Trader Joe's and other local restaurants will have FREE food for the runners after the race at the race finish. (YES…Free awesome food)
Off-site parking: 1/4-1/2 mile...from race start (good warm up :-). Plenty of restrooms available...(We know you don't like lines:-)
COURSE DESCRIPTION: Flat (mostly) and fast 8k & 5K Road Race starts and finishes at Iron Hill Brewery and the Shoppes at English Village and travels through English Village apartments onto Squires Lane out to Cedar Hill Road onto Biwood and back for the 5k.
For the 8k, continue on to the Horsham Power Line Trail and turn around at the 2.5 mile mark.. This is a beautiful run that is very fast and flat… Paved streets and gentle rolling hills. A great course! Will be held rain or shine.
There will be water stops at the 1 mile mark and the 2.5 mile mark.
Packet Pickup for this race will be at NORTH WALES RUNNING COMPANY on Thursday, March 14th 5:00-7:00 PM
RACE DAY: Check in for 8k, 5K & Kid’s Run participants from 12:30-1:45pm. No new registrations taken after 1:45pm.
NOTE: We do not issue any refunds, transfers or credits.
Kid's Run starts at 2:00, 8K Race starts at 2:10pm, 5k starts at 2:15.
"You ask for it.....we deliver": From now on, ALL Scoogie events age group awards will be in FIVE YEAR age increments!! Awesome awards for age groups in both the 8k & 5k runs! Awards given for 8K & 5k only, Kids Run is for FUN! Overall winner (male and female), plus top three males and females in each age category: NEW: 9 & under, 10-14, 5-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over. No mailing of awards or shirts. If you have to leave the race early for ANY reason, you must notify us to save your award. If you do not, we cannot hold/store awards and will likely be given to a race day entry or someone else. It is simply too much to hold/store & inventory the awards.
Note: If you are registered for this race and you registered in time to choose your giveaway (special 6th anniversary top) BUT you are unable to run for whatever reason, you will NEED TO CONTACT us BEFORE RACE DAY and let us know if you'd like us to hold on to your reserved giveaway for you to pick up at a future Scoogie Event. If you do not do this, we cannot hold your shirt and it will be given to someone that registered after the deadline. We cannot mail shirts.

1. Can I participate with my dog?
Yes, but only if you wait til the end of the start allowing the majority of runners start and please be sure to bring a bag and clean up if your dog decides that it would be a good time to take a potty break. Also, you are more than welcome to walk with your dog :-) No dogs in the Kid's Fun Run please.
2. Do I need to pay for registration with my child for the 1/2 Mile Kid's Fun Run?
No, you do not need to pay, but you will need to register and pay for your child and add your name to their form if you plan to run with them :-)
3. Do I need to be 21 to participate?
No, but you do need to be 21 to enjoy Iron Hill's yummy holiday ales inside the brewery.
4. Do I have to run in a St. Patties Day costume?
No need to run in a costume if you don't want to, many will not be wearing a costume.
5. How do I enter the costume contest?
You will automatically be entered into the costume contest by wearing a costume :-)
6. Are the events wheel measured?
Only the 8K & 5k are wheel measured.
7. Do volunteers receive a Race Day Tee?

8. How do I receive a Race Day giveaway (top)?
By registering EARLY
9. How will I receive confirmation of registration?
We will email registration confirmations to EVERYONE that registers.
10. What does registration cover?
