The fun begins with our Bluegrass & Blueberries Festival on Saturday & Sunday, July 8 & 9 from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.! The weekend will include fresh local blueberries, blueberry-themed food, beverages, live bluegrass and country music, food trucks, kids’ activities, and shop specials. Peddler’s Village shops will be open until 8 p.m. on Saturday. Admission and parking are free. Rain or shine.

"Multi person/family discount means that you get $10 off the total registration fees when signing up more than 3 runners for any of the runs besides the kid's run or walk". The "Multi person/family discount" will be automatically taken off once three runners are registered when registering them all at the same time!
Why are we holding this event?
Because we want to bring folks together in a meaningful way, get friends and families OUTSIDE to enjoy our beautiful area that we live in, spread good & positive vibes, create BIG smiles and great memories and most importantly, to help raise awareness and funds for the Solebury Township Parks & Recreation.. A portion of the proceeds from this event will go directly to the Solebury Township Parks & Recreation.

AWARDS: Awards given for 8K & 5k only, Kids Run & FUN RUN are for FUN!
Overall winners (top 3 male & female in 8k & 5k), plus top three males and females in each age category: NEW: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+ No mailing of awards or shirts.
Again, no mailing of awards or shirts. If you have to leave the race early for ANY reason, you must notify us to save your award. If you do not, we cannot hold/store awards and will likely be given to a race day entry or someone else. It is simply too much to hold/store & inventory the awards.
Note: If you are registered for this race and you registered in time to choose a top size BUT you are unable to run for whatever reason, you will NEED TO CONTACT us BEFORE RACE DAY and let us know if you'd like us to hold on to your reserved giveaway (top) for you to pick up at a future Scoogie Event. If you do not do this, we cannot hold your shirt and it will be given to someone that registered after the deadline. We cannot mail shirts.
🌩️Thunderstorm Protocol🌩️
1. We’ll wait 30 minutes after the last sound of thunder or after the last flash of lightning to begin the race.
2. Athletes will return to their cars and wait in their cars for the sound of the AIR HORN.
3. Air horn means that an announcement will be made in 1 minute after the sound of the airhorn as to when/if the race will proceed.

🌩️Slip 'n Slide (SNS) Protocol🌩️
We’ll make the race day decision as to if we will set up the SNS. If there is even a slight threat of thunder or lightning, we will NOT set up the SNS!
🌩️Finisher's Medal Protocol🌩️
Finisher's medals will be in given the runners & walkers that want one AFTER the SNS.
(It is not safe to have a finisher's medal on while going through the SNS)
A Scoogie Events finisher's medal tent will be set up just after the SNS.
**Packet Pick up will be on SATURDAY, July 8th (more info will be announced. :-) A racer email will be sent out the Monday before the race detailing everything that you will need to know about packet pick up and race day details.
